💬 What does inclusion really look like in schools?

Thanks to our project ELIS – Empowering Educators and Families for Lgbtiq+ Inclusive Support, hundreds of educators and families across Europe now have the tools, language, and confidence available to them to enable them to stand by their LGBTIQ+ students and children — not just in theory, but in practice.

Over the past year, our international partnership has:
✨ Developed and piloted powerful guidelines for teachers to foster open dialogue, spot early signs of distress, and build safer classrooms
✨ Created relatable, practical resources for parents — including handbooks, videos, and Q&As — grounded in human rights and real-life family experiences
✨ Trained educators across subjects to embed inclusion into their daily teaching
✨ Transformed feedback into action through real-world classroom piloting in Iceland

The result? A deeper, more human centred shift in how schools and homes support young LGBTIQ+. 🫶

These resources will continue to grow, evolve, and reach new communities in Bulgarian, Lithuanian, and Icelandic.

📚 Empowerment is a process — and our Eramsus + project ELIS is making it possible!
