EYE4AI – Empowering Young Entrepreneurs with AI, coordinated by the European Development Foundation (Bulgaria) in partnership with organisations from Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands and Italy, was implemented under the Erasmus+ programme from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026.
The main objective of EYE4AI was to support young entrepreneurs in using artificial intelligence in a practical, effective and responsible way — both when developing new business ideas and when strengthening existing initiatives.
Alongside practical skills, the project placed strong emphasis on responsible use, accessibility, inclusion and European cooperation, creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs, experts and organisations from different countries to exchange knowledge and experience.
Throughout the project, the partnership developed an entrepreneurship training programme, a Digital Library, an E-learning Platform, a collection of Good and Bad Practices, a practical guide to creating effective prompts, as well as a series of training activities and practical workshops for young entrepreneurs.
All key project resources and materials remain available through the official EYE4AI website:
EYE4AI was not limited to the development of educational resources. Through international training activities, workshops and events, young people had opportunities to experiment with new tools, exchange experiences and build connections with entrepreneurs, mentors, business organisations and experts.
What comes next?
The end of the funded project period does not mean the end of EYE4AI’s results.
The E-learning Platform is intended to remain available for at least five years after the end of the project, allowing young entrepreneurs and organisations to continue benefiting from the resources that have been developed.
The trained EYE4AI Youth Ambassadors can also continue sharing their knowledge and the project materials with other young people and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The resources have been designed so that they can continue to be used by youth organisations, trainers, business hubs, accelerators and other organisations working in entrepreneurship and youth development, extending the value of the project beyond its formal lifetime.
For the European Development Foundation, as coordinator of the international partnership, EYE4AI has also created a strong foundation for continued work at the intersection of young people, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
A project built through partnership
None of these results would have been possible without the commitment, expertise and cooperation of the entire EYE4AI consortium.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to our project partners:
F6S Innovation (Ireland), Yyouth (Norway), LIDI Smart Solutions (the Netherlands), The Hive Business Accelerator (Italy), and the European Development Foundation (Bulgaria).
Over two years, each partner brought its own expertise, perspectives and networks to the collaboration. Together, the consortium developed the project resources, organised international learning activities, engaged young entrepreneurs and worked to ensure that the outcomes of EYE4AI remain useful beyond the end of the project.
We would also like to thank the young entrepreneurs, Youth Ambassadors, trainers, experts, participants and wider communities who contributed their time, ideas and experience throughout the project.
EYE4AI is coming to an end as a funded project, but the resources, knowledge, partnerships and connections created through it will continue. Its central idea remains equally relevant: technology should be a tool that helps young people develop their ideas and turn them into sustainable opportunities.
